Long County was unable to pick up the win they needed Friday to avoid an 0-10 season. The Region 2-AA Blue Tide lost to the Pierce County Bears 38-6.In other region action, top-seeded Charlton County defeated McIntosh County 42-22, Tattnall County beat Brantley County 26-21 and Appling County earned a 23-9 win over Benedictine.
