The U-14 Gator girls win all 4 games in The district tournament and are now the District Champions . This qualifies them to participate in the state title tournament this weekend held in Columbus, Ga. The u-14 Gator girls team is coached by Karen Higgason and Brandon Standard. They faced heavy competition this past weekend and with one player injured, they played with all heart and amazily won with only 2 subs!!! It took each of the players working together as a team to pull it off. Samantha Garcia assisted by Myesha Robinson scored the winning shot in the finals. Others goals during the tournament were scored by Alyssa Anderson, Alondra Diaz, Myesha Robinson and Sam Garcia and assisted by Elise L. and Summer Mehalko. Defense played amazing letting only 4 goals in the whole weekend. The defenders were Alicia McCray, Megan Higgason, Jada Keys, Catherine Wood and Kaylyn Nguynen. Gator Goalie Summer Mehalko was also on her toes all weekend.
