Tomorrow, September 11, 2009 Region 1-AAAAA a Middle Georgia Houston County Football team will travel down to Southeast Georgia to play Region 3-AAAAA Bradwell Institute. This is a game that will be heavily watched. Critics are saying that Bradwell Institute can not beat any team outside it's Region or any Football team from Region 1-AAAAA.
Lets see: you have Perinnial Power Lowndes County, Valdosta, Tift County, Coffee County, Colquitt County, Warner Robbins, Northside Warner Robbins, and Houston County.
The Sports writers from the Atlanta Journal Constitution has labeled this Region (Region 1-AAAAA) as the toughest Region in the entire State Of Georgia. I must agree.
But I don't agree that every Team out of Region 1-AAAAA can indeed beat Region 3-AAAAA Bradwell Institute. While I respect the all of those aforementioned teams, I can't conclude that after watching such a fast, and physical Defense that Bradwell Institute has this year, Houston County will just waltz in Hinesville, enter Olvey Field, and just manhandle Bradwell Institute.
I have a lot of confidence in this Bradwell Institute Football Team this year. Although this is fairly young Team, I believe that this Bradwell Institute Tiger Football team are playing even better than last years team who was runner up in the Region 2nd only to a Perrinial Power, and Championship Camden County team.
After reading the blogs, and the Sports Writers comments about Bradwell Institute this year, it seems as if Bradwell Institute has to silence them again this year. The prediction this week according to Chip Saye, (Sports Writer Atlanta Journal Constitution) is that Region 3-AAAAA Bradwell Institute will lose at home against Houston County Region 1-AAAAA.
Now you can't stop those Sports Writers from writing, and predicting Bradwell Institute's wins, and losses, but you can definitely stop their negative predictions from being true.
With that being said, my question is will the Bradwell Institute Tiger Football Team allow this Team from Houston County to come down to Hinesville and just take over their Town, and Football Field? I hope not.
I believe Defense will be the key to winning this game Friday Night is to have no offensive turnovers, and no penalties.
It is written that “We compete, not so much against an opponent, but against ourselves. The real test is this: Did I make my best effort on every play?
“Football, in its purest form, remains a physical fight. As in any fight, if you don't want to fight, it's impossible to win.
And last but not least: Remember “Losing is easy. It's not enjoyable, but it's easy.......
I strongly urge Bradwell Institute Fans to rally behind this good Bradwell Institute Tigers Football team, and show these Sports Writers and Region 1-AAAAA Fans wrong. They will definitely be there Friday supporting Houston County. I hope you be there to support Bradwell Institute. Go Bradwell. I'm supporting you.
