It is high time the Tide get rid of that coach before he runs the program into the ground. No one wants him there especially the kids. You can walk down the halls of that school and ask young men that don't play, why they don't and they will tell you it is because of the head coach. If the Administration doesn't open there eyes they are going to see a program with coaches but no players. You guys have a bye week next week, why don't you drop him then, regroup and salvage the rest of the season you ... [Read More]

Dealing with a Win.

By Trojan81

Last Friday, Liberty County High defeated Statesboro. As a Panther fan, I must state that the win came a the right time. But I would ask, how will the team deal with this win? The win is needed to boost the morale of the team and its fans. I am concerned that the team will become complacent forgetting that it needs a great deal of work on its fundamentals like time management.

For love of the game

By Pantherbaseballer

A game overlooked for the excitement and flashiness of football and basketball, baseball is a game of moments, endurance, struggles and triumphs. The best baseball players fail 7 out of 10 times, but the 3 times they exceed are always memorable. A walk-off homerun in the bottom of the 9th, a hard throwing closer shutting down the best hitters with a heater painting the black, the little things, make the game brilliant. 162 games a year, people say this draws out the excitement, but that is just what brings the beauty. The season doesn’t start in the spring, it starts ... [Read More]
