
The Bradwell Lady Tigers took a solid 52-29 victory against region foe the Lady Atomsmahers of Johnson High ending a two game losing streak and moving up to 5-1 in region 3-AAAAA. Seandre Lee paced the offense with 24 points for the night.
In game two Pete Woodard's boys' squad came back from a 12 point deficit in the second half only to fall again in the fourth period to a strong Atomsmaher offense. His squad moves to 3-3 in the region.
The real action, however was off the court as former BI Tiger football standout and NFL Rookie linebacker, Gary Guyton, of the New England Patriots, was swarmed by reporters and later swarmed bu the Lady tiger fans looking for an autograph. Guyton, a native of Liberty County and resident of Hinesville, is back home after his debut season with the Patriots and said he felt good to be home relaxing and out of the cold weather for a bit.
A videotaped interview with Guyton will be loaded to the Courier's web-site Saturday morning and full details of the games will be in Sunday's Courier.
