In other region action, top-seeded Charlton County defeated McIntosh County 42-22, Tattnall County beat Brantley County 26-21 and Appling County earned a 23-9 win over Benedictine. Jeff Davis had already finished the season.

Region 2-AA results have Charlton (9-0-1) on top with an 8-0 record, Appling (9-1)
in second at 7-1, McIntosh County (7-3) in the third spot with a 6-2 mark and Tattnall County (6-4) rounding out the top four at 5-3.

Rounding out the rest of 2-AA is Brantley County (6-4) at 4-4, Benedictine (5-5) at 3-5, Pierce County at 2-8, Jeff Davis (2-8) 2-8, and Long County (0-10) is winless.

In the first round of 2-AA state playoffs, Charlton will take on Dublin High School; Tattnall County will take on Jefferson High School; Appling County will face Vidalia High School, and McIntosh will play Swainsboro High.
